Marill the Aqua Mouse

Story

Marill is a small, blue Pokémon that looks like a cute, nearly round mouse with a white belly and sensitive, round ears. It has short arms and feet, but its most amazing feature is its long, flexible zigzag tail. At the very tip of its tail is a blue, bubble-like ball that is full of oil. This special ball acts like a buoy, helping Marill stay afloat in the water, and can even glow when it's ready to attack!

Living happily at the water's edge, Marill loves to swim, and its water-repellent fur helps it move fast through strong currents and dry off quickly so it never gets cold. It likes to snack on aquatic plants and is a clever fisher too! When fishing in a speedy stream, Marill will cleverly anchor its tail around a tree to stay steady, and you can often see its special tail ball bobbing on the water's surface as it dives for food.
